           Montcalm, Mercer County, West Virginia
                               
                                    
                               Directions to this cemetery::

                                         ...From Bluefield, WV: Route 52 North, to Bluewell;
                                         ...From Princeton: Route 20 West, to Bluewell;
                     .......from this common intersection(routes #20 & #52),
                                     in Bluewell, first of two traffic lights,                   
                                              continue on #52,
 
                                                        to the next (second and last) traffic light,
                                                        turn right on Route #71,
Lorton Lick Road

                                                                  to Montcalm;
                     .......at the entrance to down-town Montcalm,
                                       first road to the right, make a 180 degree turn,
                                                 this being the Tabernacle Hill Road;
                     .......at the top of a steep, straight section, 
                                  just past a mobile home on the left, 
                                         before making a 90 degree right turn,
                                                 the Tabernacle Cemetery is on the left, 
                                                        on a relatively flat area of the terrain,
                                                               down a narrow access road about two hundred feet,
                                                                       to the top of a knoll,
                                                                               which is kept in fairly good condition.
                                             There are
three original sections
to this cemetery::
                                                                      1)
Burgess, being the first on the right,
                                                                     
2)
Bratton, being the second on the right,
                                                                Both sections lying from the top on the right slope,
                                                         end to end with each other, measuring 302 feet,
                                                  originally, both having been fenced separately;
                                                                    
3)
the top area, 
                                                             and down the far slope, un-named, but, collectively, 
                                                the three parcels are known as the Tabernacle Cemetery.

                     .....The condition of the cemetery can be rated as " sub-standard poor", 
                                                                                                        except, for the top area.  
                                                                                                    All of the normal activities, 
                                                                                                                    of Mother Nature, 
                                                                               have gone un-checked for many years.
                                         ......................................................................

                            ......a group of cousins were at this location in 2000, 2001, 2003; 
                                           looking for and finding, 
                                                 some grave sites of our Davidson relatives;
                                                       clearing the areas;
                                                            taking photographs; and,
                                                                 enjoying our fellowship together.
