Directions to this cemetery::
...From Bluefield, WV: Route 52 North, to Bluewell;
...From Princeton: Route 20 West, to Bluewell;
.......from this common intersection(routes #20 & #52),
in Bluewell, first of two traffic lights,
continue on #52,
to the next (second and last) traffic light,
turn right on Route #71, Lorton Lick Road,
to Montcalm;
.......in down-town Montcalm,
turn left across the Bluestone River bridge,
toward McComas;
.......immediately at the end of the bridge,
turn across the Crane Creek bridge to the left,
following along the flat beside the Bluestone River,
across the rail-road tracks to the right,
up the hill,
past the Riverside Methodist Church building,
on out the secondary Montcalm to Duhring road,
to a sharp left turn,
having an abandoned house on the right.
.......There is a common drive entrance,
between this abandoned house and
a double-wide mobile home on the left.
.......ask the mobile home owner for permission
to use his access road to get to the cemetery,
even though the cemetery is not on his property.
.......the cemetery is on top of the hill to the right of the access road.

.......The condition of the cemetery can be rated as "poor":
all of the normal activities,
of Mother Nature,
have been un-checked for many years.
UPDATE: this cemetery rating is now "very good" as of 2003.
In April and June, several cousins, listed below, went into this
jungle, with the desire, intent, commitment, tools, and, equipment, to make
a drastic positive change in the appearance and condition of this location.
Under-growth, saplings, downed and dead trees, were cut and sawed,
and removed to the outer perimeters;
some tombstones and field stones were again re-positioned;
a de-foliant chemical was sprayed on the aggressive plant life;
4" grape vines were cut out; and,
grave sites of our family members were cleaned to the earth.
A couple more days of work are required
to finish the clean-up project.
................There are two areas of well-kept family plots that exhibit care and
respect by their dedicated descendants.

.......a group of cousins were at this location in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003;
looking for and finding,
grave sites of our Davidson relatives;
clearing the areas;
re-setting the tombstones;
taking photographs; and,
enjoying our fellowship together.
